God Will Answer Prayers

God hears YOU!

Often times we as people pray to God for what we desire or what we may need, and finish praying and wonder if He heard our cry, if our prayer was heard, or if it would be answered. Let me assure you that God hears ALL OF OUR PRAYERS! You may feel like He does not but He does so do not ever think or doubt that He does not hear you because I am a witness that He does

Perfect example, my junior year of high school at North Lenoir I returned to school from having went through cancer and recovery! When I returned I was faced with taking the ACT. I had no knowledge of the test being taken so I was not prepared to study for it, I did not expect to have to take it due to me having to return to school. Regardless of these factors I did the best that I could, and my best was not good enough to these test takers (but to God it was). I did not make the scores that I wanted to make or that were required of me to pass the ACT. I had already implanted in my mind that I wanted to go to ECU (East Carolina University) when I graduated… so the scores that I got were not feasible to the admissions department of ECU when I applied to them my senior, and my application was rejected. That was such a disappointment to me. I did not let it get me down…

In the last 6 years since graduating from high school I have been in between schools trying to find the school that works for “ANTHONY” it was frustrating trying to obtain credits from each school, study for assignments for class and having to teach myself the content all by myself.

In June of this year I was finishing up the last semester at the college I was attending… the idea of me being a student at ECU returned to my mind, and this time it would not leave me alone! I started to envision myself on the campus, in the classroom… I later applied, had the application fee waived due to my health situation, God touched the heart of an individual to take care of the fees to get my transcripts to the college for admissions. I checked the admissions portal everyday and every week seemed like.

The Good News!!!!

The week of my fathers birthday I was sitting watching tv and the Lord spoke to me and said to go back and check my portal, this time I had not checked in a few days, when I logged in the first thing I see in my application portal is “Admitted”. I was in a state of shock… before I knew it I was viewing the official acceptance letter from the university! This spoke volumes! Later after checking my father brought in a envelope with ECU’s logo on it, and it was the official letter that they sent in the mail along with a welcome packet.

Reflection!

See I had been praying about getting into this college, I had committed to a college and was scheduled to start that next week, had I not listened to God I would not have had the opportunity to pursue my dream as a student to go after my teaching degree at ECU.

I am so happy and excited to know that I start on Monday! Whatever you are going through, remember God hears your prayers, even through strongest of people doubt that their prayers are answered by God but He hears us and surely they are answered.

God may not come when YOU WANT HIM TO, but HE IS RIGHT ON TIME!🙌🏾🗣‼️
